PROGRAMME ALTERED.
INTRODUCTORY AND ROYAL OAK HANDICAPS. Owing to the small field in the Royal Oak Handicap, to be run at Alexandra Park on Saturday, the committee of the Auckland Trotting Club has decided to alter the running of the events. The first race will now be the Royal Oak Handicap, and the Introductory Handicap will be the fifth event. This will make the programme as follows: Royal Oak Handicap, Mount Eden Handicap, August Handicap, Onehunga Handicap, Introductory Handicap, Grey Lynn Handicap, Maesey Mcmorial Handicap, and Orakei Handicap.
