NORMAL AGAIN.
TRUNK RAILWAY SERVICES. EXPRESSES ON TIME. No further slips have occurred on the Main Trunk line, and services are normal again. The portion of the line on which the slip occurred was cleared by 3.30 p.m. yesterday. Both tho early and the Limited expresses from Wellington were on time this morning. The Limited from Wellington on Monday arrived at 4 p.m. yesterday. Three slips occurred on Monday morning and night at a point two miles south of Ohgarue. As a result yesterday arterial services were disorganised, and passengers had to bo transferred across the slip. When nine surfacemen were engaged in clearing away a minor slip, a third major fall occurred, partially burying two men and injuring one "of them. Mr. J. Caskcy, of Te Koura, was sent in to the Taumarunui Hospital with abrasions received when he was .thrown against a fence. His condition was reported to be satisfactory to-day.
