WANGANELLA FROM SYDNEY. MATAKANA FOR LONDON. The Wanganella arrived from Sydney this morning, berthing shortly before 10 at the Queen's wharf. She is in charge of ran'a-'ii P.. Darroeh, who is relieving Captain fi. W. Bates while on holiday leave. The Matakana has a full cargo of frozen and general produce and will' sail-at. 2 p.m. to-morrow for London, via Cape Horn. The Hertford is loading at the Central wharf and sails for London via Cape Horn at noon on Fridav. As both these vessels are going to London by the snno route it will be interesting to see whHi makes the better time. The New Zealand Star leaves for Wellington on Friday afternoon. The Aorangi is due from Vancouver on Sunday afternoon. Wanganella arrived from Sydney this morning with 00 passengers, mails and car"o including transhipments per Taronga, Main. Nestor. Taiping, Maloja, Oronsav, Merkur, Temeraire and Nicu Hollamj. She leaves for Wellington at 0 i>.m. to-morrow. (HP.)
Matakana sails for London at 2 p.m. to-morrow via Cap:- Horn. .Montevideo and Teneriffe. She is due at London on October 11. (L.D.N.) Hertford sails for London via Cape Horn. Montevideo and Las Palmas at noon on Fridav. She is due at London on October 12." (N.Z.S. Co.) H.M.S. Dunedin arrives from Suva on Friday morning. She has been away from' Auckland since June 5. (Naval Department.) New Zealand Star is still discharging her eareo from London and leaves for Wellington on Friday afternoon. . Aorangi i< due about 3 p.m."'on Sunday from Vancouver and sails on Monday at 11 p.m. for Sydney and Melbourne. On her return to Sydney she lays up for survey. (U.S.S. Co.) Kiwitea arrives at 10 a.m. to-morrow from Greymouth, where she has been bar-bound", and sails the same evening for Newcastle, via Portland. (U.S.S. Company.) Waimarino left for Portland last night. She returns to-morrow morning and sails on Friday afternoon for Southern ports. (U.S.S. Co.) Rangitanc loads at Lyttelton on Fridav. at Wellington on September 3, Na'pier on September 11. and arrives here on September 10. sailing on the 27th for London. (N.Z.S. Co.) Monterey left Honolulu on Monday for Auckland via Papo Pago and Suva. She arrives here on Friday, September 0, at 7 a.m.. and leaves the same day for Sydney and Melbourne. (H. and M.) Canadian Planter is due on September (i from Montreal. She goes from here to Wellington and Australia, returning to New Zealand ports to load for NewYork. Boston and Montreal. (C.N.S.) Melbourne Maru leaves Hobart on Saturday for New Plymouth, arriving on September S. She also goes to Wellington, and is due at Auckland on September 10, sailing next day for Japan. (F. Co-op.)
