WORKING IN CLOSED GARAGE. Working under his motor car at his home at 70, Xelson Street, about 7 o'clock last evening, Mr. Colin MacKinven, an engineer, aged 37,. was overcome by carbon-monoxide fumes. He was taken to the hospital by the St. John ambulance, and his condition, though fairly serious on admission, was stated to-day to be very much improved. Mr. MacKinven was working in his garage with the doors closed, and the engine of the car running. Though partly overcome by the fumes, he was able to stagger up the steps to his house and an ambulance was then called.
