WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga. Kawhia and Hamilton:— Moderate to strong south-west winds, weather changeable with some scattered showers mainly on the west coast, seas rather rough on parts of the west coast but otherwise moderate. A depression is crossing the South Island to-day while an anti-cyclone still covers the Tasman Sea and extends into the North Island. HATJRAKI GUM , CONDITIONS.
