SOCIETY OF MUSICIANS.

Mr. Albert Bryant was lecturer to the instrumental circle of the Society of Musicians on Friday evening, the topic being German music. Mr. William D. Webber presided over a good attendance of members and guests. The following items were presented: Pianoforte solos, Intermezzi, Rhapsody, Scherzo (Brahms), "Hark, Hark, the Lark" (Schubert-Liszt); duets, Allegro, Symphony 11., Andante, Symphony V. (Beethoven); duo, Andante from Concerto in G Minor (Mendelssohn), and violin sonatina in G Minor (Schubert). The performers were Mrs. Dundas Edmonds and the Misses Annabel Thompson, Josio Goodsir, Pearl Wallace, Becky Pelham, Audrey Thompson, Connie Martin, Irene Watts, Dorothy Moir, Ethel Hammond and Eva Hood. Miss Dawn Harding was the vocal guest for the evening and her accompanist was Mrs! Hugh Fraser. Miss Harding presented a bracket of Brahms songs, "Der Schmicd," "Vor dem Fenster," and a second bracket," "Ein Schwan" (Grieg), "Vidmung" (Schumann) and "Serenade" (Strauss). The evening closed with supper served by lady members of the circle.
