FOOTBALLERS INJURED.
Two footballers playing in the province on Saturday afternoon met with injury and were admitted to hospitals. At Tauranga concussion was suffered by a Rangitaiki Rugby junior, J. Rochfori, in a match with Tauranga juniors. He was taken to hospital in a St. John ambulance. A League footballer, Arthur Berghan, of Whakapara, dislocated his right shoulder at Jubilee Park, Whangarei, and was admitted to the Whangarei Hospital. Injuring his chest while playing for Ponsonby League seniors at Carlaw Park on Saturday, Roy Blight, of 18, Shaw Street, Sandringhain, was taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance, but was able to go to bis home.
