STAFF SOCIAL.

A very enjoyable social evening was held by the directors and staff of the Maple Furnishing Company on Tuesday evening in the New Savoy liooms, Karangahapc Road. The guests were received by Mr. Harold Thomas and Mrs. Thomas, who wore a frock of black silk velvet with a posy of anemones and wistaria.

Among those present were: Mesdames Thomas, Robinson, Thompson, Griffiths, Gray, Mitchell, Tuck, Wade, Josephs, Hall, and Misses Taylor, Harvey, Gebbie, Golden, Steele, Craig, White, Boden, Best and Price.
