MISHAP TO TUG.

HEELED OVER ON CRADLE. WATER OVER HATCHES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A mishap befell the Union's Company's small tug Natone while she was being hauled on to the patent slip at Evans Bay this morning. When the pull from the water was commenced the Natone either slipped in her cradle or the cradle gave way, with the result that the tug lies at a sharp angle in the water, which rose high enough up the deck to enter the companionways and reach over the hatches.

Definite information is difficult to obtain. A diver has been down to investigate but* what the situation may l>c*nr what action will be necessary to right the vessel is not disclosed. Tfie situation appears to be one in which the Harbour Board's floating crane Hikitea might be able to give assistance.
