MARRIAGE PROBLEM.
TEACHERS' RETIREMENTS,
"Things arc looking up, are they not ?" was a remark called forth at the meeting of the Auckland Education Board this morning, when it was reported that seven women teachers were retiring in order to get married. A male teacher applied for a transfer on account of his wife's health, and it was explained that he had only recently married.
