CROQUET CLUBS.

STANLEY BAY. A bridge afternoon was held by the ! Stanley Bay Croquet Club at Mrs. Purser's residence yesterday afternoon. The loom was attractively decorated with berries and green loaves, and a dainty afternoon tea was served by Miss * Purser and Miss Wilson. The prize for the highest .-core was won by Mrs. Hill, and for the hidden number by Miss Kenny. Among those present were: Mesdames Callon (president), Purser. 15. Jones, Donaldson, S. Weller, W. Robertson, Wyatt, A. Sterling, J. B. Crawford, F. Baker. B. Mair, O. Bush, G. Hill. S. Wrigley, F. Baker, G. Aims, W. Grinter, E. Wilson, E. Fitzgerald (Kltham), R. Challinor, L. Cusworth; Misses Purser, Powell, Kenny. GREY LYNN. Mr. E. Buckley, president of the Grey Jjynn Bowling Club, presided, on Saturday last, at the annual meeting of the members of the Croquet Club. The reports presented by the eccretary, Hies Davis, and the treasurer, Mrs. Newton, showed the club had had a most successful year. The following <tre the officers elected for the ensuing jear: Patroness, Mrs. Mclvor; president, Mrs. W. Curtis; vice-presidents. Mosilmiics E. Buckley, Moran and Baildon; secretary, Miss Davis; treasurer, Mi-s. Xewton; tea convener, Mrs. Mayso<i; committee, Mesddmes Rose. Macdonald and Robertson; match committee, Mesdames Curtis, Xewton and Moran; social committee, Mesdames Curtis, Moran, Shaw, Macdonald, and Prince. ST. HELIER'S. BAY. The annual meeting of the St. Helier's, Bay Croquet Club was held in the bowlers' 'pavilion on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Lowe (president) was in the chair, there being a good attendance. The following officers were elected:— President, Mrs. Lowe; vice-president, Mrs. Negus and Mrs. Wynn Dunn; secretary and treasurer. Mrs. Garrard; general committee, Mrs. Laslett, Mrs. St. Claire Liglis and Miss Appleyard: delegates to the Auckland Croquet Association, president and secretary.
