VISCOUNT WAKEFIELD.
FREEDOM OF LONDON.
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 24
Viscount Wakefield, whose name lias been associated in recent years with the encouragement of record-breaking attempts on land and water, and in the air, yesterday received the freedom of : the city of London. He was formerly j Lord Mayor, and this honour is unique , for a past member of the corporation. Tributes were paid to Lord Wakefield's many acts of and benevolence.
