COLLISION IN FOG.

TWO VESSELS DAMAGED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, July 24. The steamers Calmar and Koryu Main collided 10 miles south of San Francisco lightship about nine o'clock last night. With a hole 20 feet deep amidships on the starboard side the Calmar was later towed here by the coastguard cutter Shawnee and two tugs. The Koryu Maru followed under her own steam, appearing to be badly stove-in about the bow. The collision occurred in a dense fog. Both crews remained aboard. The Calmar was bound from San Francisco to cast coast ports and the Koryu Maru was inward bound from Yokohama.
