POWER BOARD TRADING.
Before the Auckland Electric Tower Board starts starts trading it should satisfy the public that its present venture is a success. I refer to the board's entry into the property business. It can reasonably be asked to publish a statement showing the cost and returns from the Queen Street building. DISSATISFIED.
The fact that some few electrical traders may suffer by the Auckland Power Board's trading is unfortunate, says "S.W.H." This will )>o cold cnni'fort to the large number of electrical traders affected. According to "5.W.H.," by the Power Board entering trading the price of electricity will be reduced. The Power Board may well lie asked whether they will keep separate accounts and make such allocations as will let the public see the results of their trading. FAIR TRADER. "F.W.H." also raises the question of separate accounts, and "G.H." thinks the board -should first reduce the price of electricity.
