SWANSEA WORKERS.
BIG SUPERANNUATION SCHEME (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, July 21. An announcement has been made in Swansea to the effect that William Firth, a leading employer, has offered a sum of £25,000 towards a superannuation scheme in the tinplate industry. Employers generally have offered another £25,000, and it is stated that the workmen are willing to give 2J per cent of their wages.
