BERLIN POLICE.
Change of Chiefs Follows Anti-Jewish Riots. COUNT HELLDORF APPOINTED. (Received 11 a.m.) BERLIX, July 10. As the result of recent anti-Semitic riots iu Berlin, Admiral von Lcvetzow, chief of police of the city, lias resigned. Count Wolf von Helldorf succeeds him.
A communique announces that the police will further co-operate with the Nazis to defeat Communist subversive activities and reactionary movements, and Bolshevist and Jewish arrogance. Count Helldorf was sentenced to six months' imprisonment in 1931 for attacking and insulting Jews in Berlin.
Fresh anti-Jewish disturbances have occurred in Berlin's West End. Crowds paraded the streets shouting, "Down with the Jews!" several of whom were dragged from cafes apd beaten. Police, however, arrested the assailants in spite of the crowd's hostility.
STEEL HELMETS
MOVEMENT SUPPRESSED

BERLIX, July 19.
The secret police has ordered the immediate dissolution of the Steel Helmet organisation of Silesia. Wearing of badges and uniforms, and the holding of meetings are forbidden. In Thuringia several Steel Helmet leaders have been sent to concentration camps.
