OUR FLOWER GAME.
(No. 10.) Sweet william is a very close relation of tlic garden pink, tlie member of this family published last week. Like it, the sweet william's blossoms are pink and red and parti-coloured, but unlike the pink, these blossoms grow in clusters.
When painting this flower, leave the edge of the petals white, and paint the band, which is shown in the drawing, a deep crimson or purple; leaves are a bright green, and the stalks and buds a paler yellow green. There is so much variety in the colouring of these flowers, however, that it would really be a wise plan to save this little picturc until you can get a flower from which to copy the right colourings.
