After the noon tall yesterday considerable business was put. through on the local Exchange before brokers closed for the day, and <1 fair list was added this morning. At the 9.30 call bidding was steady in most sections. In the banking division New South Wales were firm between £32 2/6 and £32 10/, while Unions moved up further with a sale at £9 2/, after which holders raised their reserves to £9 5/ and buyers stayed in at £9. Kami Timbers were firm, and following a late sale yesterday at £1 2/3 there were buyers this morning at £1 1/9 and no sellers. Australian issues were firm. Buyers for Goldsbrough, Molts moved up to £1 9/9, with sellers asking £1 10/4.
