STILL CAPTIVE.

AUCKLAND MISSIONARY. REPORTED ALIVE ON JUNE 17. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Advice has been received by the local secretary of the China Inland Mission, Mr. Vivian, that on June 17 the missionaries, Mr. A. Hayman, of Auckland, and Mr. R. A. Bosshanlt, of Switzerland, were still alive, though in tho hands of Reds in tho mountains of Szc-chuan. Though still cheerful, they were in great need of clothes,' theirs being considerably worn out. As no ransom will be given, it is still believed that the captives will eventually bo set at liberty.
