AGAINST ART UNIONS.
Mr. Woodruff and Ruby Watson are wrong in principle about art unions. Apart fro® hypocrisy, the wanting of something for . nothing is the cause of almost all the world 3 ills to-day. In an art union. 10.000 people liave to lose for one to win, and whet does that one care about the 16,000, many of whom may have made sacrifices and gone short in . order to buy the ticket? The very basis 01 Socialism and Communism is co-operation, but there is no co-operation in gambling, lor a gambler would win the shirt off another' back and laugh at his downfall. What did Christ do to the money-changers in the temple. And what do his disciples do? T.S.
