MUDGWAY AND OXLEY MATCHED,
At a meeting of the executive of the Waihi Boxing Association. Mr. F. R. Slevin presiding, arrangements were completed for a professional welter-weight contest to take place on the occasion of the association's opening tourney on July 27 between Neville Mudgway, of Waihi, holder of the title, and Ted Oxley. of Pahiatua. ex-lightweight champion of NewZealand, for a purse of £25. There will be three amateur bouts and two for High School boys.
