ON 'CHANGE.
BUSINESS IS FAIR. NEW ZEALAND INSURANCE LOWER Bidding at this morning's call on 'Change was steady, with moderate business recorded. In the banking section New South Wales were firm, with buyers up to £31 12/6 and holders still asking £32. National Banks were quoted ex div., with sellers at £3 10/ and 110 buyers. New Zealands were very steady between £2 12/ and £2 12/6. Insurances were slightly easier, and New Zealands sold 3d lower, r.t £3 7/9, after which the market rested between £3 6/ and £3 8/. South British were again on offer at £4 19/, and a buyer came in at £4 17/6. Government stocks were inactive. Late buying quotations were reinstated, but there were 110 sellers. New Zealand Breweries were quoted between £2 14/ and £2 15/. Colonial Sugars were very firm, and offers to buy at £44 failed to bring any counter from holders. Waihis were firmer, with a sale at £1 17/6 and later quotations between £1 17/4 and £1 IS/. 1 SALES COMPLETED. AT THE 3.15 P.M.
