Ravages of Influenza. (Received 12.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, this day. Xgaio replaces Chase, McDonald replaces Phillips, and Kawe replaces Mataira. Sir Leslie Wilson, Queensland Governor, is meeting the Maoris before the game. Tho rain cleared, and the weather is perfect. Influenza continues to take toll of the Maoris. Following "temperatures" developed last night, Chase, Mataira and Phillips were removed to St. Helen's Hospital with a worse attack than the two lleedys had. To make matters worse Mr. W. J. Wallace is ill this morning, and the team's doctor will probably send him to hospital later. All the team's five-eighths at present are unavailable, which is cruel luck for tho tourists. The Maori fifteen to play Queensland this afternoon now is: — Full-back. —Xepia. Three-quarters.—McDonald, Hemi and Smith. Five-eighths.—Hellish and 2sgaio. Ilalf-back. —11. Harrison. Forwards. —Rogers, Kawe, P. Smith, Whiteley, G. Harrison, Cooper, Whiu and Kershaw.
