WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND 3PROVTNCR The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following- special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— Fresh to strong but decreasing southeast to south winds, a few isolated showers probable, but weather mainlyfair to cloudy and cold; seas rough but decreasing on. east coast, moderate oa west coast. A moderate anti-cyclone extends from the Tasrman Sea on to the Dominion, but pressure is still low to the north and north-east. HATTRAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hanraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-east, light; sea moderate; weather fine and clear; visibility good; barometer steady.
