ATTRACTIONS UNFOLDING.

POULTRY JUDGING TO-DAY.

There are many attractions at this year's Auckland Winter Exhibition, with the result that the attendances for the first three days have eclipsed records. The show has been favoured with fino weather, and this has been one of the main reasons for increased gate takings. The Winter Show is looked forward to through the year as the place where country and town meet on a common social footing, irrespective of their varied interests. This year there are plenty of diversions to lill in the idle moments. The side-shows comprise some remarkable novelties, and entertainment is provided in the evening in a variety of forms. Most of the other attractions which the public liass learnt to associate with the show are present, and all that is needed to make this annual, event a success is continued good weather.

Judging at the poultry show was commenced this morning, and this part of the exhibition will be continued tomorrow. This afternoon free talkie pictures were shown and. the programme will bo repeated during the early part of this evening. There will bo a vaudeville performance at eight o'clock, to be followed by an entertainment given by Miss Aileen Beresford.'s pupils.

Commencing at one o'clock to-morrow afternoon the Highland dancing will be judged, and at 7.15 p.m. the model aeroplane flying competition will be held in shed 12. Selections by the St. Andrew's Pipe Band and other Highland dancing competitions have been set down for the evening. Additional awards are as follow: — MODEL AEROPLANES. Awards made in competitions conducted by the New Zealand Model Aeroplane Association were as follow:— WORKMANSHIP SECTION. Junior Division, under 18 years of age.— Scale model monoplane: E. Clark 3. Best pair solid scale models: H. Gunn I, J. Sparks 2 and 3. FLYING SECTION. Spar model, hand launched.—R. E. Allen, lm -10s, 1; J. B. Dowry, lm 335, 2; R. H. Watson, lm 235, 3. SCHOOL COMPETITIONS.
