OTTAWA, July 11

In conversation with an Australian Associated Press representative both Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Lyons emphasised, as their trip abroad was drawing to a close, that they were more than ever convinced that Australia, by climate, by social structure, political institutions and economic opportunity, oiiers the best chance of a happy life. The absence of extremes of poverty and riches in Australia makes democracy more real and actual. The individual as such counts for more and his fate is of deepei concern to his neighbours.
