MAROONED.—A family of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who, huddled on a roof, watched the raging waters of a flood, caused by the overflowing of the Fountain and Monument Rivers, destroy their home and all they possessed. Eighteen people were drowned in the flood and the damage is estimated at 1,000,000 dollars.
