MONTHLY MEETING,
A heavy month's work was recorded at the monthly meeting of the executive committee held in the society's rooms yesterday. There have been 017 office interviews, covering 71 new cases, 78 visits to homes, institutions, etc., while maintenance money received and paid to clients amounted £154. After an interesting discussion the following requests are to be sent to the Government: That offenders committed to the . Supreme Court undergo a psychological examination; and that Sta>te. receiving homes for boys from ages seven upwards be under the control of males and females, and that resident males shall be in authority. ■ A special subcommittee has been appointed to. discuss the menace, of roneraal -disease to the community.
