SAVES A CHILD'S LIFE.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, July 3. Lying in the Ba Hospital is a 15-yea.r----old girl, who is regarded locally as a, heroine. When a child of four years ran out of Sunday School last Sunday, she ran right into the course of a speedy motor cycle, and it appeared impossible that anything could save her from severe injury or death. But just in time Emma Banner, aged 15, daehed out and hurled the child clear of the motorcycle, but so close was the call that the handle bar struck her, slashing her thigh. She was quickly taken, to the hospital, where the wound was -stitched. She is progressing favourably, -although.
