rULHAM BEATS DRESS SUIT.

VOITRE PILOTS TWO WINNERS. MELBOURNE, July 7. The New Zealand jockey K. Voitre was again in good riding form at the opening of the Victoria Racing Club's Grand National meeting at Flemington yesterday, when he won the Myross Handicap on Donaster and the Winter Handicap on Jeldiwallah. To the consternation of thousands of his supporters .Full Charge, who started the hottest favourite in the history of the race, dislodged *Lis rider, Healey, at the first fence in the Grand National Hurdles. Prime Seal went to the front at the end of the first mile from Rodda, Fulham, Dungannon, Dress Suit and Mystic Peak. Rodda and Dungannon then took turns at leading, Prime Seal being pulled up. Fulluun led over the last hurdle from Mystic Peak and Dress Suit and won well by three-quarters of a length from Dress Suit, who beat Mystic Peak by a head. The time, 5.55%, was the slowest for 22 years. Membo, ridden by the Auckland rider L. Dulicu,. was third in the Kensington Steeplechase, in which he finished well from behind. Membo is racing solidly and a week previously he won the Travancore Steeplechase at Moonee Valley. Shatter was third in the Maiden Hurdles, in which First Money was unplaced. GOLDEN TREASURE RUNS THIRD.

SYDNEY, July 7. At the Victoria Park races yesterday Golden Treasure, the full-brother to Golden Wings, by Lackham from Megalo, was third in the Nursery Handicap. Silver Ring, Golden Gate and Limbohm were unplaced in the first division of the l< lying Handicap. Silver Ring appeared sore on the way to the post. Litnoux was unplaced in the second division of the Flying Handicap and King of Diamonds was unplaced in the third division of the same event. Cockpen and Wild Dove were unplaced in the nrst division of the Novice Handicap and Grand Duke in the second division.
