FALSE FIRE ALARMS.

SIX BOYS RESPONSIBLE. __—_ OUTBREAK AT MIRAMAR. (By Telegraph-.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The normal routine of the Miramar Fire Brigade has been seriously disturbed in the past few months, for there have been 110 fewer than 48 malicious false alarms. This was revealed to-dav when six boys came before the magistrate in the Children's Court. It was stated that the boys had actually received instruction from a fire. brigade officer in the working of alarms and the risk attendant 011 giving a false call. As the boys already had been punished severely at home and at sehool, they were admonished and discharged.
