Supper Procession. At 11 o'clock the supper procession was formed. Members of the Royal household preceded the King and Queen, who were followed by some of the most distinguished guests, members of the Cabinet and-of the Diplomatic Corps. The Royal party went into the supper room. The remainder of the guests were served with supper in live other rooms, including the green drawing room and throne room on the first floor and other rooms downstairs. f Gold" plate from the King's collection decorated' the tables, and the air was perfumed with a golden scent fountain ornamented with models of horses in pure gold and of natives in ebony —a gift to Queen Victoria from an Eastern potentate. After supper dancing continued until after 1;2.30 a.m. Special parking arrange-ments-were made in the Mall and Horse Guards' Parade. Microphones were installed in the grand entrance at Buckingham Palace to summon the cars of departing guests.
