MT. ALBERT CROQUET CLUB
A very happy afternoon was epent this week at the home of Mrs. F. J. Smith, Jeeniond Terrace, Mount Albert, when the members and honorary members of the Mount Albert Croquet Club entertained two past presidents, Mrs. Windsor and Mre. Maxwell. The president, Mre. Fprsyth, on behalf of the elub, presented each with a handbag and crystal powder bowl, as a mark of ai)preciation'for their good work to the club. Musical items were rendered by Mrs. Henry and the. Misses O. WorgerThonias, Shortland and Bobbie Dec. Competitions were won by Mesdames W. Sharp, W. Wateon, L. Whitlield, H. Hawke and Miss A. Hanlon. Among those present were: Mesdames W. Forsyth, G. Clark, E. Robertson, Angus, T. Baker, E. R. Cuthbcrt, J. R. Hughes, H. Hawke, F. Hoskinjr, D. Henry, W. J. McKay, C. McGill, H. Potter, W. Sharp, C. Stuart, R. Thomas, L. Towiiley, L. Whitfield, W. Wateon, Willey, Misses J. Lambe and A. Hanlon.
