Current film entertainment in the city consists of the following productions: "Wings in the Dark," gripping romantic drama of the air, featuring Cary Grant and Myrna Loy, at the St. .James'; "A Girl of the Limberlost," Gene StrattonPorter's famous novel, at the Regent; "The Silver Streak" and "Eight Bells," jointly at the Tivoli and Kialto; "Beyond Bengal," amazing Malayan jungle drama, at the Majestic; Cicely Courtneidge's hilarious "Things Are Looking at the Civic; "Let's Live To-night," a musical romance of the Riviera, featuring Lilian Harvey and Tullio Carminati, at the Plaza; "Rumba" (George Raft and Carole Lombard) and "Dandy Dick" (Will Hay), at the National and Prince Edward; and extended season of Jan Kiepura's "My Heart Is Calling," at the Strand.
