ON LICENSING QUESTION. TAUMARUNUI PLAN". (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUNUI, Thursday. At a meeting of the Borough Council this week the question of hotel licenses in the King Country was discussed, ami it was resolved, on the motion of Messrs. A. Wilson and G. S. Steadman, that the town clerk communicate with all local bodies in the King Country to aecertain if they a-e agreeable to petitioning Parliament to grant a referendum for King Country electors to _vote on the quqestion of commissioner liquor licensing control in the King Country.
