MOUNT ALBERT TO MEET. RICHMOND. HAWKE'S BAY CLUB'S REQUEST-. At the meeting of the Auckland Rugby League last evening, when Mr. G. Grey Campbell presided, .it was decided that the match between Mount Albert and Richmond teams would have pride of place at Carlaw Park on Saturday, with the Marist-Ponsonby fixture as curtain-raiser. Devonport and City will meet on No. 2 ground. Newton Rangers, managed by, Mr. J. Rutledge, will be at Whangarei. A request by Devonport to allow the reserve grade team to fulfil its fixture at home was found impracticable. The question of a senior match at Glen Eden is to be considered. '] The Mount Albert Club submitted a request from Taradale senior team (Hawke's Bay), desiring to play a match in Auckland. Mount Albert offered to accommodate and entertain the visitors during their visit. Consideration was hold over until next meeting. The Ponsonby Club advised that Mr. D. Lane had succeeded Mr. A. S. Mclntyre as reserve grade coach. The club also advised, in reply to a letter regarding the, junior colours, that when the senior j change was approved it was thought this! could apply to the lower grade teams.! The club is to be asked to make specjai provision. The Green Lane Club's colours were approved for registration as emerald green, black, and white. Registrations: Harold M. HMI fei-South \ Auckland), to Ponsonby. R. S. Shipp (Reniuera) i to Mount Albert; T. Peckham, to City. On behalf of the latter club a clearance on behalf of a reserve I urade player, W.
