Fifty bandmasters' and songster leaders of tile Salvation Army visited Wellington at tile week-end for a bandmasters' council. Various topics. coiii cerning band life and efficiency were on ' the svllubus, the subjects ranging from "Conducting and Interpretation" v to "The Spiritual Care of the Band. Lieutenant-Commissioner F. H. Adams was in command, assisted by the .chief secretary. Colonel A. Orsbor.li. Major H. C. Goffin was appointed tSl'ritoMitl secretary for bands.
