The question of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, sending a team- to Australia was discussed at a meeting of delegates of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association. A motion . "That this association is of opinion a team should be sent to- Australia, provided it be composed of junior placers, Sand that the cost per head does not exceed £30," was carried. The mover stated it was nine years since a team had gone abroad from New Zealand. . Experience overseas, he remarked, was the best thing possible for young j players. . • .
