Notice is hereby givtA" that it is the intention of the Ellerslie Town Board, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 51 of the Rating Act, 1925, Sections 35 and 36 of the Town Boards Act. 1908, the Ellerslie Town Board Loans Conversion Order. 1934, and in pursuance of all or any other Act or Amendment thereto enabling at a Special Meeting of the said Board to be held in the Board Room, Municipal Chambers. Ellerslio, on THURSDAY, the 27th day of June. 1035, at 7 p.m., to Make and Levy the following Rates :— (1) A GENERAL RATE of Threepence Halfpenny (3Jtl) in the £. (2) A SPECIAL RATE of Fivcpencc Halfpenny (5Jd) in the £. (3) A SPECIAL HATE of One Penny (Id) in the £ to provide the levy made by the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. All the foregoing rates to be "levied on the Unimproved Value of all Ratable Property within the Ellerslie Town District. The period of the foregoing rates to commence on April 1, 1935, and terminate on March 81, 193(5, and become payable to the Trensurer on the 31st day of July, 1935. ■ (4) A SANITARY ANNUAL FEE of Twenty-six Shillings (20/), in respect of any house or premises per pan for . riightsoll removal, levied under Section 67 of the Public Health Act. (5) WATER RATES for Domestic Supply will be levied in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1932, and the Board By-laws, 1934. (G) NON-CONSUMERS' RATE upon all ratable property to which water can be but is not supplied, a rate not exceeding 50 per cent of the rate to be paid by Ordinary Consumers. (7) WATER RATE.—Extraordinary supply by meter to be charged at 1/6 per 1000 gallons with a minimum charge of £1 10/ per annum, all water In excess of 20 000 gallons to be paid for at the rate of 1/6 per 1000 gallons in addition to the minimum charge.
