N.Z. RIFLES BRIGADE.
PIFTH ANNUAL REUNION.
Ex-members of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade held their fifth annual reunion on Saturday evening, when Colonel H. E. Barfowclough presided over a representative attendance of 200. . The roll was called and absent friends were honoured. The toast, "The Brigade, was proposed by Mr. D. McPhee and that of "Kindred Associations" by Mr. L. F Fowler, and replied to by Messrs. H. A. Mildon, H. Henderson and W. Pilgrim, representing the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association, the South African War Veterans' Association and the Old Coutcmptibles respectively. During the evening items were given by Messrs. W. Hill, H. Ward, J. Kindly, P. McLean, J. Brown, W. Rowe, F. Bourke and an orchestra, Mr. A. Bree being pianist.
