WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following- special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Ivawliia #nd Hamilton: — Moderate westerly winds, later freshening', weather mainly fair to fine, but a few showers likely on west coast; seas moderate: An anti-cyclone covers the North Tasnian Sea and northern New Zealand, while a series of westerly depressions extends from the westward on to the South Island. lIAURAKI GTSXF CONDITIONS. The following report, of weather con<litions in the HanraTci Gulf 'was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, light and variable; sea smooth; weather, thick fog all morning, but inclined to clear at mid-day, with scattered banks of fog still remaining in the gulf; visibility nil; barometer rising.
