Y.W.C.A.

A CYCLING TRIP. As cycling has become increasingly popular of late, the Y.W.C.A. is organising, under reliable leadership. a cycling trip to take place during next week-end. The proposed route is through Clcvedou to the coast of the Hauraki Gulf, by New Brighton and Pokeno, and back to Auckland. The roads traversed are in very fair condition, and have fewer steep inclines than most roads in the Auckland vicinity, while the scenery is delightful. About 110 miles will be covered in the trip. The cyclists will carry sleeping bags, blankets, and a certain amount of provisions. Arrangements have been made, for sleeping under cover, in sheds or other buildings. Girls over 15, who are experienced cyclists, are eligible for the trip, which promises to be very attractive.
