(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. | Methven experienced a whirlwind at 7.4.") last evening and a third of the roof of Newman's stables and a shop verandah wore demolished. An iron shed was lifted bodily, narrowly missing a motor car travelling on the road. Windows in several premises •were broken by atones.
