CHINESE AND ROYAL JUBILEE

HONGKONC, May 1

Underground propaganda, verbal and in the I*ol-111 of pamphlets to induce Chinese not to participate in the King's Silver Jubilee celebrations, is evident in Hon-kong. It is difficult to trace the originators, but it is_ believed that Japanese are concerned in it. It is stated that Japanese street orators, disguised as Chinese, recently laid stress on Sino-Japanese blood brotherhood. While the great majority of the Chinese are evincing loyalty and enthusiasm, some firms are said to be so 'cared that they are disinclined to let the King's name appear 111 their decorations.
