YARRA FLOODS.
WORST DANGER NOW OVER.
(Received 10 a.m.)
MELBOURNE, this day,
The worst danger in the Hooded areas of the Yarra Valley has passed and householders will return to their homes, which on Tuesday were under water. Serious damage has been done to pastures.
The flooded Yarra is still causing considerable inconvenience to shipping, while high seas are running along the coast, resulting in inter-State steamers being many hours behind schedule.
