The statement wni made in legal circles here thi« morning that.Mr. Hugh McJntyire, chairman of tlie Mortgagors Belief Commission, and Mr. McDonald had resigned yesterday afternoon. The commission came here on Monday to transact business, but Mr. Dalrymple, the third member, was not present, being absent shooting in the South Island. No reason woo? given for the sudden reason to resign.
