WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE
The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province for as far south as Tauranga, Kawliia, and Hamilton: —
Moderate to strong but decreasing south-west winds, weather cold and changeable, with scattered showers, but improving, seas rough.
Pressure is still low to the east of New Zealand, but an anti cyclone of slight intensity is advancing across the Tasman Sea.
HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS,
The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri at noon to-day:— • Wind south-west, freshj sea moderate; weather cloudy with passing showers. Visibility fair; barometer steady.
