W.C.T.U.
PONSONBY. The Ponsonby branch of the W.C.T.U. held its April meeting in St. John's schoolroom, Hiss Read presiding. Mrs. Tasker Brown lead in devotions and a temperance fact was given by Mrs. Bragg. Mrs. Puistty was welcomed to the meeting. After the repeating of the pledge, Mrs. Hugh Kasper, district president, presented her report of the Dunedin conference. Benediction closed a successful gathering.
