CABINET ARRANGEMENTS.
LUNCHEON TO OFFICERS. (Ey Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, tliis day. In connection with the coming isit" to New Zealand ports of Japanese warships, Cabinet lias decided to give facilities to the personnel to visit some of the Dominion's scenic resorts, and to tender a complimentary luncheon to officers at Parliament building.
Two 0000-ton cruisers, the Asama and Yakuino, forming the Japanese naval training squadron, are due to arrive in Wellington from Sydney on May 10, and will reach Auckland eight days later. The squadron is under the command of Rear-Admiral K. Nakamtira, and has three Imperial Princes among the complement. The squadron left Japan 011 February 20, and 011 the way to Fremantle called at Hong Kong and Singapore. Visits are now being made to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. The return to Japan from Auckland will be by way of Suva, Apia, Honolulu and the mandated islands.
