Dear Girls, — The office is simply simmering with excitement.' Mind, not 1 wildly, thrillingly excited (not yet), but just gently simmering. "And for why?" I hear you ask. Oh, Sunbeams, how can you? 1 cannot help thinking of oceans and oceans of Sunshine patches flooding the office, and little shivers of excitement run up and down my spine at the thought. Are you all as busy as bees? Don't forget, whatever you do—May 1, May I, May 1. To-day we are publishing another little piece of music written specially for oup pages by Mr. Marsh, the bandmaster of the Mount Eden Boys' Band. I think it is ever so kind of Mr. Marsh to take such an interest in our pages, and I do hope our young verse writers realise the unique privileges they enjoy in having their little poems set to music.
